The first session is all about getting to know you. We’ll talk through what’s bringing you in, address any questions you have, and begin identifying goals that feel meaningful and realistic for you.
Yes. Your privacy is extremely important. What you share in therapy remains confidential, with limited exceptions only when safety is a concern.
Session frequency is something we’ll decide together. Many clients start with more frequent sessions (weekly, bi-weekly, or every three weeks) to build momentum, then reduce frequency as progress is made.
I currently offer therapy exclusively through secure telehealth video sessions. This allows for greater flexibility and convenience, eliminating travel time. Many clients who are initially unsure about telehealth find they prefer it once they try it.
At this time, I provide individual therapy only and do not offer couples or family counseling.
My practice primarily focuses on adults. However, I do see 16 and 17-year-olds who are able to engage effectively in a telehealth video format.
Due to regulations set by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health for master’s-level counselors, I’m unable to complete paperwork for ESA, FMLA, or disability requests.
